Racing returns to the Goulburn Paceway this coming Thursday afternoon (15th April) where the feature race on the programme will be the $8,000 Taylor Made Travel Trotters Carnival of Cups event.
Nominations for the meeting were extended until 10am Monday 12th April and the club is hopeful of scheduling a bumper race meeting. The afternoon will also feature heats for the $7,000 Tom Hewitt Memorial to be held at the club’s subsequent meeting on the 29th April.
Tom Hewitt sadly passed away in early 2009 and was one of the district’s leading trainers for many years. His Lost River stables via Crookwell produced numerous high class performers including the Interdominion campaigner and successful stallion Nikalong Shadow whilst King Rancio was another top grader.
The club invites all harness fans to come along to the Goulburn Paceway on Thursday afternoon for what promises to be an excellent afternoon of racing
