The website was switched to WordPress to allow the club to easily access and post recent news to the website. The new website is also responsive to mobile devices, which was required by Google in April 15 for the site to continue to be listed on mobile searches.
With social media virtually taking over this is now how we get information out to our clients, customers and friends and having a website that automatically links through to MOST social media and decrease the amount of time spent re-posting the same information across all social media accounts is imperative. The new website will, one save time, and two, it just gets plain confusing having to login to all those separate accounts, sometimes on a daily basis depending on how pro-active you are with your social media accounts.
The social media side will help the club stay in touch with its members, easily and more frequently, and the new website being mobile responsive will also allow those members who are active on their iphones etc, to be able to access and read the website via those devices without having to stretch and shrink the screen to read the latest news.
Updating the new website via WordPress is also very easy, as long as you have internet access you can update the site, on which ever device you choose, and creating and editing posts and pages is very simple as well, if you are able to use Microsoft Word then you will have no problems in editing your content.
